Development Plans
At Cranford we are constantly thinking of ways to develop our school. The Headmistress and the School's Governing Body are committed to a five year plan of investment in the Cranford House site. We have recently refurbished our swimming pool, are in the process of adding an additional Science laboratory and refurbishing our existing Science Block (due for completion on July 1st). Over the Summer we will develop two, brand new independent learning spaces which will combine the functions of a library and an ICT focused research centre. We also hope, subject to planning to build an Astro-turf on our back field during the summer. This synthetic pitch will reduce the amount of time our pupils need to spend in transit to pitches external to our site and thus, increase the amount of time they can be active each day.
Next year we have plans to replace our gymnasium with a state of the art performance facility dedicated to music, drama and dance. Cranford is renowned for excellence in Music and Drama, and this new facility will reflect the quality of performance our pupils and staff achieve.
