It has been great to meet so many of our parent body this week at coffee mornings for Years 5, 10, 11, Nursery and Reception.

Cranford House is a real family community and we are very fortunate to have such a large body of supportive parents who come along to join us in school.

Elsewhere, my real highlights of the week have been the time I’ve spent with Nursery children, particularly at our Reception Taster Day which saw them exploring our Reception classroom with great curiosity, and conducting our Year 11s’ career interviews. It is both exciting and humbling to witness their ambition and determination as they prepare to face GCSEs and life beyond.

Finally, as our second full week back at school draws to a close, it has been fantastic to see our clubs programme in full swing. We are very proud of the breadth of opportunities available to our pupils here and it is really wonderful to see so many of them making the very most of everything on offer.

With best wishes for a restful weekend,
