This year's Junior Swimming Gala took place in brilliant sunshine and saw our four school Houses competing to lift the Inter-House trophy.

Our Swimming Teacher, Mrs Graham,  was delighted by the boys' and girls' performances and sends this report:

"It is at this point I would usually be reporting on the noise levels generated by the Juniors at the annual Inter-House Swimming Gala. However, this year the children had a different challenge. As the GCSE Examinations were also taking place, the Juniors practised silent cheering and clapping in support of their house mates to keep noise levels down! The Junior School has never fallen so silent and the children rose to the challenge incredibly well. They certainly made up for it in volume once the examinations had ended!

This year, Beech (Green) House quite literally stormed to victory. There were several stand out performances, but every single swimmer from each House really gave their all, many competing in a gala for the first time, and there were plenty of medals on show by the end.

Well done to every single boy and girl who took part. You all did yourselves proud and your swimming and 'flash mob' skills were fantastic!"
