Senior Choir Tour to Germany
Members of our Senior Choir enjoyed a fantastic Choir Tour to Germany this summer.
Providing a wide array of cultural and musical highlights, this year's trip included a boat trip down the Rhine and the honour of performing in Cologne Cathedral. Isabel of Year 10 sent us this report of the trip:
"At the start of the summer, we enjoyed our Choir Tour to Germany. We were staying in a really pretty town called Rudesheim am Rhein, with a lovely view from our hotel onto the River Rhine.
We really enjoyed singing in interesting venues such as the Abbey of St Hildegard, and also, our highlight, singing in Cologne Cathedral. It was really amazing to hear all our hard work from the past terms' in Choir come together in such an amazing place!
Other things we loved included our trip to Phantasia Land Theme Park, our shopping trip around Mainz (although we all got absolutely soaking wet!) and of course, eating our body weight in pretzels and ice-cream!"
