Year 5 Visit Santa Pod Racetrack
Year 5 were firing on all cylinders as they headed off to the Santa Pod Racetrack for a Dare To Be Different day packed with high-octane activities all aimed at inspiring girls to explore careers in STEM.
Whether they were constructing hover boards from a shower curtain and a piece of celatex, testing their reaction times on the track, practising CPR and using a defibrillator, trying their hands at being sports presenter or changing tyres in the Pit Stop Challenge, the girls had a huge amount of fun with lots of learning thrown in along the way.
