Early Years Curriculum
During term time, children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for children aged 3 – 5 years.
The prime areas of learning are:
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Physical Development
- Communication and Language
Specific areas of learning:
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Arts and Design
Whilst the curriculum is planned to maximise learning within each of the seven areas of learning outlined above, our ethos is very much about promoting cross-curricular experiences both indoors and outdoors.
