Year 5 Trip to Hampton Court
On a cold January morning the Year 5 girls headed off to Hampton Court to gain first hand experience of Henry VIII's Tudor Court.
On arrival they were amazed by the wonderful architecture and full of enthusiasm for the exciting activities that lay ahead.
They met Henry VIII and, when presented to him, they followed court etiquette and dropped down on one knee, so as not to offend His Majesty.
They also met Lady Jane Grey's mother, Lady Frances Brandon and gathered lots of information to help with their current project about the Tudors.
