"It is my great pleasure to offer you a warm welcome to Cranford House. Set in over 14 acres of rural South Oxfordshire, we are an independent day school, for boys and girls aged 3-18. In recent years our school has enjoyed many new improvements and in September 2020, we have seen both the addition of our new purpose built Sixth Form Centre and a co-educational Senior School. Together with our strong academic and pastoral reputation we have a through school education fit for many years to come.
Established in 1931, Cranford House continues to provide a vibrant, opportunity-rich education and an environment where happy children learn and succeed. Our school is firmly based on traditional values, within a warmly nurturing environment, where the diversity of ability and talent of each of our pupils is fully embraced.
Cranford House pupils are happy, confident and motivated, giving them the perfect foundation to aspire to achieve across all areas of our broad curriculum. The small class sizes, close community and committed staff clearly promote our ethos as a welcoming, family school. With around 470 pupils across the school, our relatively small size ensures that every child has the opportunity to participate fully in all aspects of school life from the earliest years.
