Sixth Form Admissions
Our co-educational Sixth form welcomes applications from students wishing to pursue A Level qualifications in an inclusive environment with a broad range of opportunities on offer.
Cranford House welcomes applications from students to join the school post-GCSE from September 2020. With a broad Sixth Form curriculum and an outstanding array of co-curricular opportunities, Cranford House students are extremely well-placed to develop the skills and experience necessary for a successful transition to either university or the workplace.
Cranford House offers a number of Scholarships for entry at Sixth Form to seek out and reward gifted students and ensure the largest number of talented students can benefit from a Cranford House education. Scholarships carry a value of 25% and may be combined with a Bursary up to the value of full fees at the discretion of the Headmaster.
Academic Scholarships are offered in addition to Scholarships for excellence in Art, Drama, Music and Sport.
An offer of a place for entrance into the Sixth Form at Cranford House is conditional upon the student achieving a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade 5, including English and Maths, with Grade 6 in the subjects proposed for study at A Level, unless specified otherwise.
Year 12 Admissions Process & Registration
We are now accepting registrations for entry to Year 12 in September 2020. The registration form can be downloaded below. The deadline for application is Friday 18 October 2019.

Applicants are invited for Scholarship interview and assessment at Cranford House in the November of the year preceding entry. The assessment day comprises:
- Interview with a member of the Senior Leadership Team
- Scholarship Interviews (Sport, Music, Art, Drama)
- Assessment and specialist paper
References are obtained from the student’s current school at that time.
