We have enjoyed a fun-filled and poignant couple of days as we prepared to bid a fond farewell to Year 11 who embark on study leave this afternoon.

This afternoon’s Leavers’ Service found us reflecting on their exceptional leadership of the school over the last twelve months and the school values that they have upheld so effectively throughout their time here at Cranford House. The day came to a fitting close as staff, Year 11 pupils and parents joined together for a celebratory Leavers’ Tea. We very much look forward to seeing our Year 11s back in school over the GCSE Examination period and I am sure you will join me in wishing them every success.

Elsewhere in school, our Year 3 pupils had a fabulous time on their first school residential to Court Hill. The rain certainly didn’t dampen their enthusiasm for the wealth of outdoor fun on offer, including the chance to explore the woods around this beautiful part of the Ridgeway. Please do take a moment to enjoy these photographs which I think really capture the sense of fun and enjoyment in school this week.

With best wishes
