CAM01079

After an incredibly busy half-term, I am sure that all our pupils are very excited and looking forward to a well-earned week off. This last week has seen all our Senior pupils in assessments; they have worked incredibly hard and approached their examinations in a calm and assured manner. However, it hasn’t all been about the exams this week. As the perfect antidote, all our Senior pupils were able to enjoy a Circus skills workshop! Developing agility, balance and acrobatic skills, there was lots of hanging around upside down in fine displays of aerial gymnastics and some successful (and not so successful!) hula hoop dancing. The sessions evoked a great deal of laughter and smiles and were clearly enjoyed by all!

Our Junior pupils have also been working hard this week in all areas of the curriculum. Reception pupils had a wonderful music session learning about different instruments, there has been a great deal of sporting action going on and Year 6 spent a day immersing themselves into the strict regime of a Victorian Cranford! I think they all agreed that school is definitely better in the 2020s and I’m inclined to agree!

It has been lovely to see a glimpse of the sun this week, which is particularly welcome as we look forward to the half-term break
