The Cranford Pathway sits at the heart of school life. It represents a roadmap for pupils throughout their time at school.
There is no doubt that academic excellence is a cornerstone of life at our school. This is reflected in our exceptional results and value-added scores that place the highest premium on supporting each pupil in teaching and reaching their fullest potential in the classroom.
However, life at Cranford is about so much more than simple academic success. Our aim is to support the development of confident, well-rounded young people, imbued with a spirit of enquiry, a strong moral compass and the conviction to dare to challenge themselves to be the best they can.
A pathway of discovery
The Cranford Pathway represents a roadmap for pupils on their individual journeys through school, encompassing three key strands of school life:
1. A rich provision of co-curricular and extra-curricular clubs and activities
2. A personal development pathway that requires pupils to reflect on, and take responsibility for, their wider development beyond the classroom
3. Small group mentoring that offers pupils scaffolded support and builds their confidence, self-awareness and independence

Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular clubs at Cranford
All pupils play an active role in the extra-curricular life of the school and our aim is to ensure that there is something for everyone. Our clubs provision offers breadth, variety and, most importantly, lots of opportunities for pupils to have fun and challenge themselves at school.

Cranford offers over 100 clubs and activities which run across the school year, giving pupils of all interests the chance to explore, experience and develop a wide range of interests.
